Flooring service
Floor removal and subfloor preparation
Every great floor starts underneath. We tear out old flooring, remove adhesive, fix low spots and test moisture so your new floor goes down flat, bonds properly and lasts.
Clean tear-out
Carpet, carpet tile, vinyl, VCT, laminate and wood removed and hauled off.
Flat, sound substrate
Patching and self-leveling to manufacturer tolerances.
Moisture tested
Slabs checked before adhesives or wood go down.
Protects your warranty
Most flooring warranties depend on proper prep.
Why prep matters
Most flooring failures — peaking LVP, hollow spots, popped tiles, failed adhesive — trace back to the substrate. Manufacturers specify how flat and dry the floor must be. We meet those specs before a single plank goes down.
From airport terminals to living rooms
At Miami International Airport we removed worn carpet tile and prepared concourse substrates before installing new carpet. At home it might mean leveling an old slab or filling grout lines so LVP can float over tile. Same standard, every time.

FAQ
Removal & Prep questions
Can you install over my existing floor instead of removing it?
Sometimes. Flat, well-bonded tile can often stay in place under LVP or laminate. Carpet, loose vinyl and damaged floors need to come out. We’ll recommend the most cost-effective option during your estimate.
What is self-leveling compound?
A cement-based underlayment poured over the floor to fill dips and create a flat surface for new flooring. It’s often required for LVP, LVT and engineered wood.
Why test concrete for moisture?
Excess moisture can break down adhesives and make flooring cup, bubble or grow mold. Testing first lets us choose the right adhesive, barrier or mitigation.
