Engineered hardwood installation in Miami
Nothing feels like real wood underfoot. Engineered hardwood brings that warmth to South Florida homes with a stable, layered core designed for concrete slabs and our humid climate — when it’s installed the right way.
Real wood surface
A genuine hardwood veneer with natural grain.
Made for slabs
A cross-layered core resists humidity-driven movement.
Adds value
A premium finish that buyers and tenants notice.
Can be refinished
Thicker wear layers can be sanded and refinished later.
Why engineered, not solid, in Miami
Solid hardwood expands and contracts with humidity and generally isn’t recommended directly over concrete slabs. Engineered wood’s cross-layered core is far more stable, which is why it’s the standard choice for Miami homes and condos.
Glue-down or floating?
Glue-down installations feel solid and quiet and work beautifully over slabs. Floating installations go faster and can suit some condos. We’ll recommend the method your product and building call for.

FAQ
Engineered Wood questions
Can engineered hardwood go in a condo?
Usually, yes — with an underlayment that meets your association’s sound requirements. Share your building’s rules and we’ll plan around them.
Does engineered wood need to acclimate?
Most products do. We follow the manufacturer’s acclimation and humidity guidelines and make sure your A/C is running before installation.
Engineered hardwood or LVP?
Engineered wood gives you a real wood surface and a premium feel; LVP is waterproof and tougher against pets and spills. We’ll help you weigh it room by room.
